We are a Candidate School of International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Our curriculum is a blend of Ghana Education Service and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Our classes run from Nursery to Year 6. The early years as part of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) acknowledges the uniqueness of each student. This program will be maintained through to Year 6 at a higher level of learning. We will ensure that curriculum contents are age-appropriate for all classes.

Our Teaching and Learning approaches are concept-driven, inquiry-led and research-based. Our goal is to provide learners around the world with programmes that are significant, relevant, engaging and challenging, using local and global contents. We also aim to provide an environment for students to become self-motivated and confident individuals.

THE PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAMME: PREPARING STUDENTS TO BE ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS IN A LIFELONG JOURNEY OF LEARNING

GES curriculum is used for those who require a transition from that background to the IB based curriculum.

We are a candidate School for the International Baccalaureate (IB) and are incorporating their program. Our curriculum is not only based on academics but is also focused towards developing the unique talent/s of each individual.

WHAT IS THE IB PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAMME (PYP)?

The program is designed for students from 3- 12 years. It focuses on the development of the child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside. It is a framework guided by six transdisciplinary themes of global significance, explored using knowledge and skills derived from six subjects’ areas, as well as trans-disciplinary skills, with a powerful emphasis on inquiry.
It is flexible enough to accommodate the demands of most national or local curriculums and provides the best preparation for students to engage in the future programs.
